Our Story
A Proud American Story
Commemorative Dog Tags began its next chapter in 2008, when the business was purchased from a retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant who had built a small engraving and vinyl graphics shop.
What started as a trailer-based workshop became the foundation for something much larger: a small American business focused on craftsmanship, personal service, and meaningful engraved products made to be kept.
From the beginning, the mission was clear. We wanted to create high-quality personalized dog tags and keepsakes that carry real meaning — not throwaway promotional items, but pieces people wear, give, display, remember, and pass along.
Although our roots are strongly connected to military-style dog tags, we are not only for military and first responders. Today, we create custom engraved pieces for service members, veterans, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, K9 handlers, families, friends, memorial tributes, gifts, and anyone who wants something personal made with care.
What Makes Us Different
Commemorative Dog Tags is a small, independent engraving shop with a simple belief: every order matters.
Single pieces are welcome. Small custom runs are welcome. New ideas are welcome. We do not believe in telling customers, “you can’t do that,” before we have even tried to find a way.
We never got in the box, so we always think outside the box.
That attitude shapes the way we work. We listen, we look for solutions, and we treat each project with respect — whether it is one dog tag, a keepsake gift, a memorial piece, or a custom order for a group, unit, department, or event.
We do not try to be a cheap promotional warehouse. Our focus is on meaningful engraved items, clean workmanship, and personal service.
