Marine Corp Mascot Bulldog Stainless Steel Dog Tag

The history of the USM Bulldog mascot started back in 1918 with the battle against the Germans just northeast of Paris call the Battle of Belleau Wood. It was about this time or just before that the Marines got the nickname "Devil Dogs". It was really around 1922 that the Marine adopted the English bulldog as their Mascot with the first dog named Jiggs. in later years and mascots, they called the mascot Smedley after Major General Smedley Butler. In 1950 the Mascot name was changed to Chesty after Lt. Gen. Lewis "Chesty" Puller. Today the Marine celebrate the newest Mascot as Chesty VX.

US Marine Corp Mascot Dog Tag is Premium Polished Stainless Steel that is .070 thick. It measures approximately 2" x 1-1/8". In our order, we include a USMC Mascot dog tag, a jump ring, a 26" long 2.4mm ball chain, a 1" split key ring, and a small polishing cloth. You can wear it as a traditional dog tag on the ball chain, hang it on your car mirror, or use it as a key ring. The back can be custom engraved with 1 to 5 lines of text. Each line of text can have 35 characters including spaces, commas, and periods or you can order "As Is" without any engraving. You can order this Marine Crop Mascott Dog Tag with or without engraving on the back. We do not recommend using a social security number in your text. We do custom jobs.
