Gold Star Family Dog Tag. Gold Star Family Dog Tags are a way of honoring the relatives of US military members who died in service. They are personalized metal tags that can be worn as a necklace or attached to a keychain. They usually have the name of the fallen soldier, the date of death, and a gold star symbol. Gold Star Family Dog Tags are a sign of respect and gratitude for the sacrifice of the military family.This is a high-quality gold stainless steel dog tag with a thickness of .070 and a Gold Star Family emblem on the front. The dog tag measures 2" x 1-1/8" and comes with a jump ring, a stainless steel ball chain with 2.4mm balls, a split key ring and a polishing cloth. You can wear it as a traditional dog tag on the chain, hang it on your car mirror, use it as a key ring or any other way you like. The back of the dog tag can be engraved with up to 5 lines of text, each line with up to 35 characters including spaces and punctuation. You can choose to have it engraved or not.
